Would you like a slice,
A slice of pizza pie tonight?
I woke up late for work and rolled right out of bed
I saw I had a voicemail from my job, so I listened to what it said.
It was my boss, they sounded cross, they said, "don't come back here no more
and if you try to come and get your things, we'll kick you out the door"
So, I went to grab some food
and heard the friendly cashier say
"Would you Like a Slice,
A slice of Pizza Pie
Would you like a slice,
A slice of pizza pie tonight?"
Right around the corner a waiter rushes by
it's their thirteenth double in a row and they think they've lost their mind.
When they get down to the table, their customer's complaining
and after minutes of a tirade they ask, "do you hear just what I'm saying"
"Well, if I'm being honest with you,
I was wishing I was dead,
But"
"Would you Like a Slice,
A slice of Pizza Pie
Would you like a slice,
A slice of pizza pie tonight?"
Every day it's the same damn thing
I want to burn it down and see what it brings,
but for now I'll bide my time and look at you and say
"Would you Like a Slice,
A slice of Pizza Pie
Would you like a slice,
